This policy explains how X1 Sales and Lettings Limited trading as ThirtySix Partners (“we”) handles personal data. We are the data controller for the information described below.

ThirtySix Partners is a trading name of X1 Sales and Lettings Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 16665726. Manchester office: Unit 1, Michigan Avenue, Manchester M50 2HD, United Kingdom.

What we collect

Our enquiry, brochure download and Investment Finder forms collect your name, email address, telephone number, country of residence and, where you provide them, your investment budget, preferred locations, purchase timescale and any message you write.

We may process limited technical data needed to operate the site, such as IP address and browser type. No optional analytics or marketing tracking is currently installed. If added, it will require your choice through our cookie banner.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your enquiry details to respond to you, to send development information you have asked for, and to progress a reservation where you decide to proceed. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, and where relevant steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

We use your details for ongoing marketing about comparable developments on the basis of consent, or soft opt-in where you have previously enquired. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us.

Where we are required to carry out anti-money-laundering and identity checks before a reservation, the lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

Where you enquire about a development delivered by a third-party developer, we share the details necessary to progress your enquiry with that developer and, where applicable, the appointed solicitor and lettings manager. We also use service providers for email delivery, customer relationship management and website hosting, who process data on our instructions only. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for 24 months from your last interaction with us, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Where you complete a purchase, transaction and compliance records are retained for six years from completion to meet legal and tax obligations. Marketing consent records are held for as long as your consent stands, plus two years.

International transfers

Our enquiries come from investors worldwide. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum with the relevant provider.

Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request deletion, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email invest@thirtysix-partners.com with the subject line “Data request”. We respond within one calendar month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
